<Tempest> is a horde guild on the Barthilas realm. Barthilas is an oceanic realm with the majority of players in Tempest from Australia and New Zealand. We are very close and even consider members of the guild as family.
Our focus as a guild is end game raiding, instances and heroics as well as general PvE progression in an efficient and elegant manner.
The guild was founded early November as a result of the struggles faced by an RL mate which eventually led the majority of our guild from Frostmourne to reroll here. As a result, members of Tempest are expected to have prior raid knowledge as well as an area in which they can help the guild progress. We raid on weeknights as well as the occassional Saturday raid but all changes are reported on the website and forums.
Our current position on Barthilas allows us to clear Karazhan (which we undertook on our first run) and consider it on farm status. We hope that through recruitment and gearing, that we will be moving into Gruul's/Mag's and SSC and TK before March 2008.
We are dedicated towards the guild, and as a member of Tempest you will be obliged to show respect towards all members as equality is our key competency. While we do not expect our raiders to show up every night of the week as we do not consider ourselves a "second job" raiding guild. We do expect regular attendance if you have signed up for one of our raids. The raids themselves are performed usually between 18:00 and 19:00 ST.
We now only accept level 70's or very near as we are looking to move into 25 mans within the next few weeks. We are mainly recruiting Tanks and healers at this time however all DPS classes may apply and you will definately be considered.
All recruits will be expected to be geared and attuned so that you are ready to fill in a Karazhan position when required.
We are a focused and mature guild who attempts to help each other out in their time of need. We offer you the best raiding conditions and a positive environment and by no means will we put pressure on you if you cannot make one or two raids.
